Sarah Johnsen (known to many students as SJ) is a multi-talented dance professional with an unwaivering passion for teaching dance.

Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts Honours in Dance Specialized in Dance Education from York University, Sarah prides herself on cultivating a safe and supportive classroom environment for dancers of all levels. She is known for her inclusive teaching approach and her thoughtfully structured classes that help students achieve their personal dance goals.

In addition to her post-secondary education, Sarah continues to train as both a dancer and dance educator having recently earned her IDTS Level 1 and Alixa Flexibility Module 1 teaching certifications. Presently, Sarah is working on her Heels Dance Teacher Certification with Glow Giver Academy X Luminesque Dance.
